There was much applause when French house legend Gregory Darsa revisited his stripped down '90s project Point G with the launch of an eponymous label back in 2013, which resulted in a series of 12"s, double and triple packs swiftly snapped up by the deep house cognoscenti. The popularity of the Point G sound has led the French to issue some label highlights digitally this month for the very first time, but he's not relenting on the physical format he loves so much as evidenced on this 8th release. Arriving in a rather satisfying triple pack, revamped versions of previous Point G gems such as "Braka" and "Druker" feature alongside unreleased cuts with compatriot Lazare Hoche rounding out proceedings on a rasping, warm note with a reshape of "Hands." Essential.
